Le Voilier des Sables

Le Voilier des Sables is a 3D animated short film created in 2024 as a student project. It was showcased to several studios and won the Jury Prize for its poignant tone and unique visual style. I had the privilege of contributing to various aspects of the production, including production management, cinematography, and artistic direction, as well as modeling and texturing props. Additionally, I served as lead on animation and compositing.The story follows a woman who, confronted by a massive sand wave sweeping across the desert, builds a sailboat to escape by riding the wave. However, beyond the adventure lies a deeper metaphor—an emotional exploration of sadness and the journey through grief.
